Summer Porch Pillow Covers

I made these outdoor pillow covers the beginning of summer and was waiting to share them until I had the chance to make a few more things and time got away from me.

So I decided late was better than never. I spotted this coral fabric and bought several yards to make pillow covers and had hopes of making a couple beach bags but that will have to be next summer.

I cut a couple starfish out of drop cloth and stitched them onto the fronts of two of the pillows. Then for the vertical pillows I added a ruffle and a strip of ribbon and as always I stitched ribbons onto the tops so I can tie them to the chairs. That way I don't have to worry about pillows blowing down the street during a storm.
