Letter Wrapping

Thought I'd drop in and share a recent crafty project. I wrapped the letter "M" for a neighbor friend of mine that is moving across the country to Colorado. I wanted to give her and her family a little departure gift and a little something to hang on the front door of their new home upon arrival.

Their last name begins with the letter "M" so this is a nice little token.

I used a Lily brand cotton string in a variegated color combination. I really love the pattern the colors make when they're wrapped around the letter. To achieve a tightly wrapped, sharp looking, letter it takes patience and glue. LOL
